During each three hour walking tour, you’ll enjoy generous samples from 5 of Madison’s favorite eateries, and get a chance to meet the chefs, managers or owners who enjoy sharing their stories as well as their delicious culinary creations. Tours feature locally owned restaurants which support local farmers and producers. The tours feature an array of Wisconsin flavors from cafes, bakeries and butchers, to pubs and ethnic restaurants. Walking food tours are an ideal way for local residents or visitors to venture away from the busy downtown and explore Madison’s offbeat neighborhoods.


Food carts have become one of the most celebrated ways to enjoy tasty offerings from local chefs. Madison’s burgeoning food cart scene includes everything from grilled cheese, vegetarian comfort food and smoothies, to ethnic bites, sliders and BBQ. With so many options, how do you choose? Let us help you. Sample dishes from food carts as well as casual eateries as we stroll around the Capitol Square and learn about the history and architecture of our state capital. Enjoy food samples at 4 stops which may include sliders, Wisconsin cheese, Persian fare and pasties. The tour is about 1 mile and lasts 2 hours–perfect for a leisurely lunch with friends or co-workers–and provides enough food for a light lunch.

This is a great way to see our city and try the B-cycle system! Visit 4 restaurants for generous brunch samples and cocktails, explore Madison’s extensive bike path network and enjoy our community’s unique and progressive bike share program. Route takes about 3.5 hours, covers about 5 miles and will vary.  B-cycle tours are offered seasonally, and sell out quickly! Be sure to book your spot early as space is limited.
